Easter......

So I just realized that I've been majorly slacking at updating my blog, sorry people! Here are some pictures of our Easter weekend. We went down to my parents house for the weekend, while we were there we headed over to Haven to visit Ben's sis Alli and her family. We tried to get Aiden to take a picture with the Easter Bunny but he just would NOT do it!

Aiden.....

Here are some pictures of Aiden from today. It was such a nice day we just had to go outside. As you can see he LOVES wearing his tool belt as well as hammering nails with his little hammer. Don't worry...he only gets his hammer outside! (We learned our lesson)

Cutting some firewood...

These are some pictures of Aiden, my dad and my brother splitting some firewood. Aiden had so much fun and thought he was such a BIG boy! He wanted to use the ax.....but we said no =)

Christmas with GranMommy...

Our third and final stop on our Christmas adventure was with Nancy. We celebrated her Christmas at Landon and Jerilyn's house in Liberty. It was a full house but we had fun spending time with GranMommy and eating yummy food. By the end of our traveling Aiden started getting a cold which he is still recovering from but the potty training is in full swing =)

Papa T and Nana's Christmas...

Our next stop on our Christmas traveling list was in KC at Tim and Connie's house. We had lots of fun playing games and spending time together. Aiden got a Handy Manny tool set from Papa T and Nana...He loves it! Overall we had a great time =)

Our first stop of our Christmas travels was in Hutch with my family. It was good spending time with the fam; we had some cousins in from California that we hadn't seen in a long time. Aiden loved all his gifts especially his new tools. =o)

Last weekend we celebrated Aiden's 3rd Birthday! He loves Handy Manny, so his party was themed after that show =) Aiden is in LOVE with tools....He got quite a few as gifts. While we sang happy birthday he got so embarrassed and covered his eyes...it was so adorable.

Last Sunday we spent the afternoon picking up the millions of leaves in our yard. Ben and Aiden had lots of fun using the leaf blower =) After it was all said and done we hauled off SIX truck loads of leaves...Wow! Good family times =)

Halloween...

This year we dressed Aiden up as an one and only Boston Red Sox player. Aiden had a good time trick-or-treating and eating lots of yummy candy =)

Pumpkin Patch...

This weekend we went to Walter's Pumpkin Patch, it's about 10 minutes out of town. It's a HUGE pumpkin patch with lots of other things for children to do. We went last year as well but Aiden was still to little to do a lot of the activities. This year he had SO much fun! When we finally made it to the pumpkin patch he kept saying "those are B-I-G pumpkins" so cute =)

Football Kick Off....

Go Chiefs! Today was the first Chiefs game, so we had a full day of grilling out. Even though the Chiefs had a tough loss we still had fun! =) We were all decked out in our gear so we decided to take some pictures, I thought they turned out cute =)

Labor Day Weekend....

This past weekend we went to Hutch to visit my family. Aiden had so much fun fishing for the first time, although, he never wanted to touch the fish. =) We ate some yummy barbecue and enjoyed each others company. We visited my parents house to see how far it has came along. My dad is hoping they will be moved back in by the end of this month!

Back in May we went up to Kansas City for Ben's cousin Katie's wedding. While we were up there Landon (Ben's bro) took some family pictures of us. He did a great job, here is a few of them!

WFFD!!

We just had the annual Whitsitt Family Fun Day not to long ago. It takes place each year up in Kansas City at Ben's parents house Tim and Connie. It was a fun filled weekend of swimming, playing outside games, and eating some yummy barbaque!

Yes I know I haven't posted anything for awhile, this summer has been crazy so far. I have been taking a summer class and I just got finished with it this past Thursday; I have another class that starts on Monday. A regular class is about four months long and these two classes are the same ones just condensed down into five weeks...can we say fast paced! Anyways, these are a few pictures of our summer so far...We have been to the zoo and done lots of swimming other than that not much has been happening here in El Dorado, hope all is well with everyone!

This past weekend we went to Tulsa to see Ben's mom and his sister Allison and her family. Aiden had so much fun playing with his cousins. Ben, Josh, Alli, and all the boys had a water balloon fight; it didn't last long but they all had a great time =)

Chaz's Graduation....

This past weekend my little brother, Chaz, graduated from high-school. I honestly can't believe he is old enough to be graduating already, however, I can say I'm not in as much of denial as my mom is =) He will be attending Johnson County Community College this August. We now have someone else to visit in the KC area! We are SO proud of him and all that he has accomplished so far and may he have many more to come, Love ya Chaz.
